Job summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Glazier to join our team in Svalbard. As a Glazier you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass in various structures such as buildings homes and vehicles.

This is a part-time position with a salary of 1500$.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of glazing experience and be able to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Glazier.
• Ability to work part-time hours on weekdays and weekends.
• Must have valid work permit for Svalbard or be eligible for free visa sponsorship.
• Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut glass to specific dimensions
• Install glass in windows, doors and other structures
• Repair or replace damaged glass
• Remove old or broken glass and prepare surfaces for new installations
• Work with different types of glass including tempered, laminated and decorative
• Use hand tools and equipment such as drills, saws and putty knives
• Ensure safety standards are followed when working with glass
