A reputable glass company in Svalbard is seeking a skilled Part-Time Glazier to join our team This position is ideal for candidates who are looking for a flexible working schedule and have a passion for working with glass

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions
• Install glass in windows doors display cases and other structures
• Remove any old or broken glass and clean the area before installing new glass
• Use tools such as pliers putty knives and suction cups to manipulate glass
• Apply weather-stripping and sealants around edges of installed glass
• Ensure proper alignment and fit of installed glass
• Follow safety protocols at all times while handling glass

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Glazier preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Physical strength to lift heavy pieces of glass
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of different types of glass and their uses
• Familiarity with hand tools used for manipulating glass

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours The candidate must have their own visa for Svalbard or be willing to obtain one We will provide accommodation for out-of-town employees

Salary

The salary for this position is 1100$ per month
