Job summary

OasisConstruct UAE is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join their team in Bergen, Norway. In this role, you will operate various types of cranes, ensuring the safe and efficient moving of heavy materials on construction sites. Candidates must have at least 2 years of crane operating experience and a valid certification.

Additional responsibilities include equipment inspection, weather monitoring, and following safety protocols. Accommodation may be provided and visa sponsorship could be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating both mobile and tower cranes.
• Strong knowledge of crane safety procedures and load charts.
• Physically fit for climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile and tower cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Set up and inspect equipment before use.
• Communicate with ground crew to ensure safe movement of materials.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
• Read and interpret load charts to determine crane capacities.
• Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed.
