Job summary

OasisConstruct UAE is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join their team in Bergen, Norway. In this role, you will operate various types of cranes, ensuring the safe and efficient moving of heavy materials on construction sites. Candidates must have at least 2 years of crane operating experience and a valid certification.

Crane Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Bergen. As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites. You must have experience working with both mobile and tower cranes as well as the ability to read and interpret load charts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile and tower cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Set up and inspect equipment before use.
• Communicate with ground crew to ensure safe movement of materials.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
• Read and interpret load charts to determine crane capacities.
• Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating both mobile and tower cranes.
• Valid crane operator certification/license.
• Strong knowledge of crane safety procedures and load charts.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills for working with ground crew and other team members.

Salary

Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.
