Responsibilities

• Design and defend OT network infrastructures per security specs.
• Implement IDS, firewalls, access control, and segmentation.
• Participate in FAT testing of switches, routers, firewalls, and more.
• Collaborate with vendors on Cyber Security Self-Assessment Templates.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments per IEC62443.
• Lead RVA sessions to identify OT threats.
• Interface with suppliers, disciplines, contractors, and clients.

Your Mission:

In this role, you’ll help shape and protect a large-scale OT network infrastructure, ensuring it meets rigorous network and cyber security standards. You’ll be part of a dynamic engineering environment, working hands-on with critical systems and collaborating with top-tier industry professionals.

What You’ll Do:

• Design & Defend: Develop robust OT network infrastructures aligned with Network and Cyber Security Specifications.
• Detect & Protect: Implement intrusion detection systems, firewalls, access control, and network segmentation.
• Test & Verify: Participate in FAT testing of switches, routers, firewalls, and more.
• Collaborate: Support vendors in completing Cyber Security Self-Assessment Templates.
• Analyze Risks: Conduct supplier risk assessments based on IEC62443 standards.
• Lead Workshops: Facilitate RVA (Risk and Vulnerability Analysis) sessions to identify potential OT threats.
• Cross-Disciplinary Teaming: Interface with suppliers, disciplines, contractors, and clients.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

Your Experience:

• 5+ years in OT security, focusing on the design, configuration, and support of large network infrastructures.
• Expertise with switches, firewalls, servers, and virtual environments.
• Proven background in network design and/or cyber security, ideally within oil & gas EPC or industrial control systems.

What You Bring:

• Strong grasp of ICs, SCADA, and OT tech.
• Experience with industrial protocols (Modbus, Profibus, IEC61850, OPC UA, etc.).
• Familiarity with the Purdue Model and NIST Cyber Security Framework.
• Knowledge of IEC62443, Equinor TR1658, and relevant assessment templates.

Required Certifications:

• EX: Basic EX course (6–8 hours online or 22.5 hours classroom).
• FSE: High and low voltage safety, including first aid.
