Job summary

Techconsult AS in Stavanger seeks an Automation – OT/Cyber Security expert to design secure offshore network infrastructure and lead security efforts across large OT environments.

You will drive design compliance, perform FAT verifications, and collaborate with vendors to address cyber threats while applying standards such as Purdue Model, IEC62443, and NIST CSF. Norwegian and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years OT security experience in large network infrastructure.
• 5+ years in network design or cyber security in oil & gas EPC/ICS projects.
• Strong understanding of ICS/SCADA and OT technologies.
• Experience with Modbus, Profibus, IEC61850, TCP/IP, Ethernet, OPC UA.

Responsibilities

• Define network infrastructure design and ensure OT security per customer specs (firewalls, IDS, access controls, segmentation).
• Participate in FAT testing and verify switch/router/firewall configurations.
• Support suppliers on Self-Assessment Templates and risk assessment.
• Apply Purdue Model and NIST CSF to OT security; align with IEC62443 requirements.
• Interface with disciplines, suppliers, contractors and the client.
