Job summary

Bulk Infrastructure in Norway is seeking an experienced OT/Controls Engineer to operate and improve the Building Management System (BMS) and related OT platforms at our N01 Campus in Vennesla. This role emphasizes monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle activities rather than hands-on programming.

You will coordinate with vendors and project stakeholders, contribute to design reviews, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

Background in automation, electrical engineering, OT, or control systems.
Experience operating or troubleshooting BMS or OT platforms, ideally in data centres or critical infrastructure.
Understanding of IT networking fundamentals and system topology.
Experience with testing, commissioning, controls verification, or handover activities.
Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, or OPC-UA preferred.
Fluent written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day operation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the BMS and OT systems.
Troubleshoot alarms, events, and performance issues; address abnormal conditions.
Coordinate with vendors, system integrators, and service partners.
Contribute to design reviews, technical assessments, and control philosophies.
Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and readiness activities for new builds.
Maintain technical documentation and asset information.
