Job summary

Metronor Industrial, part of Metronor Group, is seeking a system development engineer to advance our core optical encoder technology. Based in Norway, you will work on software design, method development, and project management across global customers and partners.

You will contribute to systems and software design, development, integration, validation and testing, with emphasis on optics, lasers, cameras, sensors and thermal control, and interface with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or PhD in IT, mathematics, physics/optics, cybernetics or a related field.
• Experience in software and method development using C++ in Microsoft Studio.
• Familiarity with MatLab is an advantage.
