We are now looking for a Factory Technician who will work on board our vessels in Antarctica.
The Factory Technician reports to the Factory Manager on board and is responsible for Krill Meal and Krill Oil production onboard the vessel during his/her shift. Maintenance work of factory equipment must be expected. The Factory Technician may also be set to operate other machinery and be involved in other production onboard the ship. The position is not set to a specific vessel and may change during the season if required or by request from management.

Vessel/Antarctica
Crew changes are normally arranged in Montevideo, Punta Arenas and Puerto Williams. Shift rotation: One shift on (ca three months incl travels) and two shifts off, averaging 150 sea days per year and about 120 - 135 days off between trips. Travel to and from fishing ground is about one week each way at the beginning and the end of the rotation, using ports in Uruguay, Chile, and Falkland Islands for embarkation on cargo and passenger vessel, bringing crew to fishing vessels on fishing ground.
