Job summary

Dell Technologies invites you to join our Onsite Service Team as an Onsite Service Principal Engineer in Lefdal, Norway. You will apply technical expertise to install, troubleshoot and repair customer IT operations on site, coordinating with remote support and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5-8 years of relevant experience, strong systems installation skills, and certifications in Linux, Windows, VMware or Networking. Shift work may be required and the position is based at Lefdal.

What you’ll achieve

As a Onsite Service Principal Engineer, you will apply technical expertise, peer collaborating, diagnosis tools and analytical practices to resolve customer issues, taking care of our customer IT operations by delivering outstanding on-site support within the Data Center. Shift work may be required upon request.

You will:

• Plan and lead installation services for assigned accounts
• Triage issues with direction from Dell remote support teams.

• Upgrade firmware as needed as part of troubleshooting.
