Job summary

Sperton Norway is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead process engineering deliverables for offshore topside projects based in Bergen. You will develop and QA process/utility designs, evaluate equipment, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project standards and deadlines.

You will review P&IDs, PFDs/UFDs, datasheets and line lists, perform calculations, support HAZOP and safety reviews, and ensure compliance with NORSOK and API/ISO/ASME standards while living in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a relevant scientific discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of offshore M&M experience; topside North Sea projects preferred.
• Strong process and utility system design experience; equipment evaluation.
• Experience developing/reviewing P&IDs, PFDs/UFDs, datasheets, line lists.
• Familiar with NORSOK P-002, S-001 and Z-001; knowledge of API/ ISO/ ASME.
• Familiar with TIME, STID, ProCoSys, SAP and MS Office; strong coordination skills.
• Excellent communication; fluent Norwegian; able to work independently in Bergen.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for assigned process engineering deliverables in offshore topside projects.
• Develop and quality-check process and utility system designs.
• Evaluate and dimension process equipment such as compressors, heat exchangers, pumps and separators.
• Develop and review P&IDs, PFDs/UFDs, process datasheets and line lists.
• Prepare process calculations and calculation reports.
• Participate in HAZOP and safety reviews; perform process simulations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders; ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and provide progress updates.
