Job summary

Sperton Global AS in Bergen, Norway, seeks an experienced Senior Process Engineer for offshore brownfield modification projects. You will lead process and utility system design, develop P&IDs and PFDs/UFDs, prepare datasheets, perform line sizing, and carry out calculations and simulations.

Based in Bergen, you will join a multidisciplinary team, ensuring engineering documentation meets project standards and safety reviews such as HAZOP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of offshore M&M experience, topside M&M preferred.
• Strong experience in process and utility system design and documentation.
• Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs/UFDs, datasheets and line lists.
• Knowledge of NORSOK standards and API/ISO/ASME regulations.
• Fluent Norwegian and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for assigned process engineering deliverables in offshore topside projects.
• Develop and quality-check process and utility system designs.
• Evaluate and dimension process equipment and prepare datasheets.
• Develop and review P&IDs, PFDs/UFDs, line sizing and line lists.
• Prepare process calculations, reports and simulations; participate in HAZOP and safety reviews.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely, compliant deliverables.
