A specialist service company in Norway is seeking an Offshore Lead Crane Mechanic to lead a team and maintain cranes and lifting equipment offshore. The ideal candidate holds a relevant certificate, has significant experience with offshore cranes, and is fluent in Norwegian and English. EnerMech are looking to hire an Offshore Lead Crane Mechanic on a permanent basis to join our ad hoc flying squad to be based out of Norway.
As a Lead you you lead a small team of Mechanics and also work hands on maintaining and inspecting Cranes and Lifting equipment offshore.
Other job duties and responsibilities will include;
To be successful for this position you will hold a relevant professional/qualified certificate. For example: Mechanical engineering, Industrial mechanic, car mechanic etc.
It is essential you hold relevant experience from service work on vessels/offshore cranes. You will have a safety first approach and be fluent in Norwegian/English, written and spoken.
You will ideally be an experienced Crane Technician or Mechanic who has had previous experience overseeing a small team
An offshore safety certificate and medical and required for this role.
