Job summary

Nordlandssykehuset HF i Bodø søker sykepleier til varierte kirurgiske pasientforløp ved A7. Du vil utføre pre- og postoperative oppgaver, observasjon, og tverrfaglig samarbeid rundt pasienten.

Stillingen kombineres med bemanningssenteret og gir bred faglig utvikling. Ansatte vil inngå i en tre-delt vaktplan, med mulighet til videre spredning til andre enheter etter avtale.

Qualifications

• Norsk autorisasjon som sykepleier og ønsket videreutdanning i relevante fagområder er ønskelig.
• Gode norsk språkferdigheter skriftlig og muntlig.
• Gode digitale ferdigheter.

Responsibilities

• Observér pasientens helse og funksjon, vurder tiltak i samarbeid med legen.
• Motta akutte pasienter og planlagte innleggelser.
• Administrere medikamenter.
• Deltakelse i lege-runder med gruppeansvar.
• Forberedelse til undersøkelser og operasjoner samt postoperativ oppfølging.

Job description

Do you want a working day with varied nursing tasks, close collaboration and the opportunity to develop broad surgical competence?With us you meet patients with various diagnoses and needs, and follow them through both planned and acute courses. This gives a varied working day and good opportunities to build broad clinical competence.

We care for patients with surgical problems related to gastrointestinal, breast and endocrine surgical diseases as well as gynecology. Our department performs bariatric surgery, and is the only hospital in Northern Norway that performs this type of surgery. We are the parent department for many patients who are undergoing oncological treatment and have the status "Open admission".

As part of the treatment in our unit, we use modern sensor technology. The equipment we use is Nattugla and Guardian H10.

The work consists, among other things, of pre- and postoperative nursing, observation, treatment and follow-up. You will work closely with nurses, doctors and other professional groups around the patient. With us there is room to ask questions, discuss professional matters and learn from each other.

We now have the following positions available:

• 1 x 100 % permanent position, which is combined with 25 % in the Bemanningssenteret
• 1 x 80 % permanent position
• 1 x 70 % temporary substitute position with start as soon as possible and with duration until 09.01.28

Nordlandssykehuset is committed to a full-time culture, and Bemanningssenteret contributes to this. The fraction you already have linked to the parent ward, here A7, is combined with a fraction in the Bemanningssenteret. In this way you get a total of a 100% position in an adapted three-part rota / shift schedule. Initially you will only work at A7. Here you will become well acquainted with their areas of expertise, before you may be introduced to another unit by further agreement. The Bemanningssenteret is concerned that you should experience professional development and confidence. You will therefore work towards units and areas of expertise in a limited rotation, where your competence, your interests and the hospital's needs will be emphasized. By working in different units you will gain valuable experience from several fields.

Work tasks

• Collect information about and observe the patient's health condition and functional ability, assess, prioritize, implement and evaluate measures in collaboration with the doctor
• Reception of emergency patients and patients who are planned for admission
• Medication administration
• Doctor rounds with group responsibility
• Preparation and preparation for examinations and operations and postoperative care
• Triage of patients through observation and systematic scoring
• Use of the app "Medanets"
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with various professional groups, the patient, relatives and the kommune health service

Qualifications

• Norwegian authorization as a nurse. Further education in relevant subject areas related to the unit (for example operating theatre nursing, anaesthesia, intensive care or oncology nursing) is desirable
• Proficient in Norwegian in writing and orally
• Good digital skills
