Job summary

Alignerr Corp. seeks a Norwegian Language Expert for a remote, hourly contract role to help AI systems trained on Norwegian content. You will review AI-generated translations and original Norwegian text for accuracy and naturalness, flag issues, and suggest idiomatic improvements.

Work asynchronously on a flexible schedule (10–40 hours/week). No prior AI experience required. This position offers freelance autonomy with meaningful, task-based work and the chance to influence how technology

Qualifications

• Fluency in Norwegian Bokmål and/or Nynorsk.
• Strong written Norwegian communication skills.
• Excellent grasp of contemporary Norwegian across contexts and registers.
• Ability to evaluate written language quality at scale.
• Detail-oriented with a methodical approach.
• No prior AI or tech experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated translations and original Norwegian content for accuracy and naturalness.
• Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, or cultural issues.
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Norwegian.
• Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
