Centalion is seeking a Risk Officer for the Nordic Power desk to ensure the accuracy of P&L, positions and exposures across financial and physical power products including Nord Pool markets and PPAs. The role requires strong valuation, modeling, and reporting skills and close collaboration with Trading, IT, Operations, Market Risk and Finance.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Finance or related field.
• At least 5 years of Middle Office or Risk experience in a commodities trading environment.
• Direct exposure to structured PPAs and/or BESS transactions preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Nordic and European power markets including Nord Pool.
• Experience with PPA valuation, optionality, and risk modeling.
• Knowledge of ETRM valuation, market data controls, and independent price verification.

Aufgaben

• Produce, validate and explain daily Nordic power P&L and positions by price area.
• Build and monitor system price curves and forward curves.
• Reconcile pricing exposures with Trading and Operations.
• Monitor MTM, risk and limits across physical and structured transactions.
• Own valuation control for PPAs, optionality and imbalance risk.
• Review BESS transactions and valuation methodologies.
• Translate trading results into accounting and support month/year-end reconciliations.
• Lead front-to-back implementation of new products and controls.
