Our company is a leading IT solutions provider in Norway, and we are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Os. As an expert in network and system administration, you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and security of our company's network and systems. This is a contract job with visa sponsorship available to qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Install, configure, update, and maintain servers and other hardware components
• Manage user accounts and access privileges across various systems
• Ensure data backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and regularly tested
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for improvements to the network/systems environment
• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies or resolve complex issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator (minimum of 2 years)
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN configuration, security protocols (SSL/TLS), and VPN technologies
• Experience with server administration on both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across different departments

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this position.
