Job summary

RedLine Freight Services is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to manage and secure our Svalbard network and server infrastructure. You will handle switches, routers, VPNs, and firewalls while ensuring systems run reliably.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of network administration experience, with strong problem‑solving and teamwork abilities. Accommodation is provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in network administration.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux server systems.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Experience with firewalls, routers, switches and other networking devices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Svalbard. As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company’s network infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and security. You will also maintain server systems, install and configure software, troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support to employees.
