Job summary

AlSafe Finance Kuwait is seeking an experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our Oslo team. You will install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless APs, while monitoring performance and security across on-site servers, virtual machines, and cloud services.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years in a similar role. Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP knowledge and VMware/Hyper-V and cloud experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Network or Systems Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience with cloud services (Azure or AWS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure network security with appropriate measures.
• Maintain server infrastructure (physical, virtual, cloud).
• Provide technical support for end-users on HW/SW/Network issues.

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Oslo As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining upgrading and troubleshooting our companys network and computer systems

Responsibilities

• Install configure and maintain network equipment such as routers switches firewalls and wireless access points
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Ensure network security by implementing appropriate security measures
• Maintain server infrastructure including physical servers virtual machines and cloud services
• Provide technical support for end-users on hardware software and network-related issues
• Create and maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures
• Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement new projects or upgrades

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role as a Network or Systems Administrator
• Strong knowledge of networking principles including TCPIP DNS DHCP
• Experience with Windows Server operating systems 200820122016
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with cloud services such as Azure or AWS is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary 1400$ per month
