Job summary

SynerData in Alta, Norway seeks a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to manage day-to-day network and systems operations. You will ensure smooth operation of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and IT equipment.

Responsibilities include configuring networks, troubleshooting issues, applying software updates, monitoring performance, and maintaining security and backups. Collaboration with vendors and meticulous documentation are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role as a Network or Systems Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (e.g. OSPF), VPNs, DNS/DHCP.
• Experience with Windows Server administration including Active Directory management.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.

Salary

The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
