Moderator - Online Forum Community Manager

Location: Os, Norway

The Moderator - Online Forum Community Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the online community of our company's forum. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual who is passionate about engaging and growing a community. The ideal candidate will have experience moderating online forums or communities and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and moderate discussions and posts on company forum to ensure they align with community guidelines
  • Engage with forum members by responding to comments, questions, and concerns in a timely manner
  • Foster a positive and welcoming environment for all members of the community
  • Develop strategies to increase engagement, membership, and overall growth of the forum
  • Collaborate with other team members to create relevant content for the forum
  • Address any technical issues related to the forum platform
  • Keep track of trends and changes in the industry to suggest new discussion topics or initiatives for the forum
  • Enforce rules and regulations set by the company to maintain a safe and respectful community
Requirements:
  • Previous experience moderating an online forum or community is preferred
  • Strong understanding of online community dynamics, including conflict resolution strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
