Job summary

Elkem is seeking a Microsoft 365 expert to lead the Collaboration domain within the Modern Workspace team. You will drive SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive and Copilot initiatives across Elkem's global operations, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

You will define roadmaps, govern security and compliance, lead adoption and training, and ensure high-quality service delivery while improving the employee digital workplace experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience with SharePoint Online and other M365 technologies in enterprise environments.
• Solid experience with IT support management preferably from a global company.
• Experience and understanding of UX and EX requirements.
• Fluent communication in English and Scandinavian.
• Design, documentation, and implementation of enterprise solutions.
• SharePoint architecture and migrations.
• Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio.
• Microsoft Graph, APIs, scripting and automation.
• Power Platform governance, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Teams administration and meeting room.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Collaboration subject across Elkem and act as the collaboration technical team lead.
• Develop Elkem’s Microsoft 365 collaboration platform (SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot Studio, Power Platform).
• Drive governance, security, compliance and best practices across collaboration services.
• Define technology roadmaps and advise stakeholders on new M365 capabilities.
• Lead adoption, training and user enablement to improve the employee digital workplace experience.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery through support coordination, continuous improvement and automation.

The Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) organization is responsible for delivering secure, reliable and modern IT services across Elkem’s global operations. Within I&O, the Modern Workspace team drives the digital workplace experience for employees worldwide through Microsoft 365, identity management, endpoint management, collaboration and AI-powered productivity services.

Right now, we are looking for a Microsoft 365 expert who can lead the Collaboration subject across Elkem.By joining the Modern Workspace team, you will have the opportunity to be the collaboration technical team lead and:

• Develop Elkem’s Microsoft 365 collaboration platform, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and the Power Platform

Qualifications required for the position:

The position reports to Modern Workspace Manager and does not include employee responsibility. The position can be located either in Kristiansand or Oslo, depending on the right candidate. Some traveling must be expected.
