Job summary

BuySphere Retail Staffing seeks a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Alta, Norway. You will shape, cut and join metal parts to create structures and products, with a focus on accuracy and quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of metal fabrication experience, can read blueprints, and perform MIG/TIG welds. Accommodation near the workplace is provided; visa flexibility is welcomed for suitable candidates.

Metal Worker

Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for shaping, cutting and joining metal parts to create various structures and products. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in metal fabrication and the ability to work with various types of metal including steel, aluminum, and copper.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and design drawings to determine project specifications
• Measure and mark metal pieces according to specifications
• Cut and shape metal pieces using tools such as saws, shears, and plasma cutters
• Weld or solder pieces together using various techniques such as MIG and TIG welding
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards by conducting inspections
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in metal fabrication
• Strong knowledge of different types of metal and their properties
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and design drawings
• Experience with welding techniques such as MIG and TIG
• Ability to use various tools including saws, shears, grinders, etc.
• Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
• Good communication skills

Salary

The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
