Job summary
The Department of Archaeology, Conservation and History (IAKH) at the University of Oslo invites applications for a tenure-track postdoctoral position focused on GIS, statistics, and Mesolithic archaeology in Scandinavia. The six-year contract includes teaching and administrative duties.

Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in archaeology with Mesolithic focus and GIS/stats expertise.
- Clear profile in GIS and statistical analysis for Mesolithic in Scandinavia.
- Ability to handle large datasets and use GIS for archaeological interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Lead GIS- and statistics-based research on Mesolithic Scandinavia.
- Develop an international research group and pursue external funding.
- Teach Stone Age Archaeology and contribute to teaching development and outreach.
- Engage in research leadership, supervision, and academic citizenship.
