Job summary

Starhold is seeking a versatile Mechatronics Engineer to contribute to the development of a new method for controlled interventions in rock and concrete at our waterfront lab in Bergen. This hands-on role involves designing and assembling robotic systems while working closely with external vendors and using internal manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in robotic hardware, a relevant degree, and proficiency in 3D design software. If passionate about innovating in the construction industry, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands on experience with robotic hardware development.
• Proficiency in 3D design software (Onshape or equivalent).
• Experience shipping hardware to production.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, design, prototype and assemble complex robotic systems.
• Work with external vendors to manufacture parts and assemblies.
• Aid in the development of system software and control laws.
