Job summary

Equinor invites applications for an early-career Mechanical Engineer to join the Hammerfest LNG site in Northern Norway. You will monitor static mechanical conditions, support operations, and participate in projects while contributing to risk assessments and HSE.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical engineering; degree by August 2027.
Not more than three years of relevant full-time experience.
Proficiency in Norwegian (verbal and written) and strong English communication.
Team player able to work in a multidisciplinary environment with safety in mind.
Excited about living and working in Hammerfest.

Responsibilities

Monitor the plant's technical condition within the static mechanical discipline.
Evaluate and assess compliance with technical requirements.
Participate in projects, modifications, and studies; support operations and maintenance.
Contribute to risk assessments and HSE management.
Update and prepare documentation within the static mechanical discipline; monitor technical integrity.
