Job summary

West End Radiators is seeking a Material Handler Technician to safely move, store and track materials across the facility. You will verify deliveries, label stock, assist purchasing with stocking decisions, and support production with timely material delivery.

The role requires forklift certification, ERP familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We value integrity, quality service, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of warehouse/materials handling experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and Parts Lists.
• Proficient with tape measure and imperial/metric measurements.
• Knowledge of Lean or 5S practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within a set period.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory/WMS systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience with power and hand tools is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical requirements include standing/walking and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify against packing slips or invoices.
• Label and store materials with manual and computerized tracking.
• Coordinate stocking levels with Purchasing.
• Pull materials for production or shipping based on work orders.
• Support cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Complete shipping/inventory documentation accurately and timely.
• Load, unload and move materials using forklifts and related equipment.
• Assist with shop tasks including testing and cleaning customer products.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety regulations.
