Job summary

FlexiRemote Solutions, a construction company based in Alta, seeks a skilled Mason to join the team on a contract basis. The role involves building and repairing structures using brick, stone and concrete blocks; no previous experience is required, but some masonry knowledge is preferred.

Your duties include laying out foundations, mixing mortar, using trowels and levels, repairing damaged bricks or stones, and ensuring work is level and plumb while adhering to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Strong physical stamina to work in varying weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Visa sponsorship available for suitable candidates.
• Preference for male candidates due to the physically demanding nature of the job.

Responsibilities

• Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints
• Mix mortar and spread it evenly between bricks or stones
• Use tools such as trowels, levels and hammers to shape and trim materials
