We are looking for a creative, motivated and solution-oriented Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys technical challenges and collaboration. The position will mainly be focused on software development, but some hands‑on practical work will also be required. You are structured, precise, and eager to contribute to high-quality projects. We are seeking someone with an interest in technology, a hands‑on approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and maintain existing manufacturing test systems, implement new features, improve performance, and refactor existing code.
• Implement data capture solutions for our product test systems.
• Set up new and maintain existing production lines.
• Contribute to manufacturing process development.
• Optimize manufacturing workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Document manufacturing and test processes.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff.

Education and skills

• Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., computer science, automation, electronics, instrumentation, or telecommunication). Relevant experience may compensate for a formal degree.
• Solid experience with software development in Python. Experience with additional languages is advantageous.
• Practical experience or interest in manufacturing technology.
• Familiarity with hardware development and testing.
• Proficiency in English and Norwegian.
