Job summary

Air Products in Kristiansand, Norway is seeking a Manager, HSE, Quality & Compliance to lead safety, quality and regulatory excellence across our operations. You will drive the Quality Management System, plan and manage audits, and provide strategic guidance to leadership on risk and governance.

You bring extensive experience in HSE, Quality, Compliance within engineering/manufacturing or industrial environments, strong knowledge of ISO-based systems, audit methods, and proven leadership and

Qualifications

• Extensive relevant experience in HSE, Quality, Compliance, or Operational Excellence within engineering, manufacturing, marine or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of HSE legislation, ISO-based management systems, audit methodology, root cause analysis, corrective action management, and compliance governance.
• A proactive mindset and a strong drive for continuous improvement.
• The confidence to challenge constructively and promote high standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both operational teams and senior management.
• Fluency in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Promote and strengthen a proactive safety culture and drive HSE excellence across the organization.
• Lead and continuously improve our Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, industry, and corporate requirements.
• Plan and manage internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
• Act as an independent assurance authority, providing objective oversight and governance.
• Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and translate them into effective business practices.
• Lead investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action processes to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
• Partner with local and global stakeholders to implement best practices and corporate standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, compliance, and operational performance.
• Provide strategic guidance to the Leadership Team on HSE, Quality, Compliance and business risk.
