Job summary

Black Pen Recruitment is seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale Azure Data Platform, BI and analytics solutions for clients relocating to Malta. The role requires deep hands-on expertise with Azure cloud technologies, data architecture and modelling, and strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years in a senior Data/Architect role.
Experience designing and implementing Azure Data solutions.
Familiar with Azure Purview and Master Data Management concepts.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and OLAP concepts.
Experience with CI/CD and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Willing to travel UK and abroad when required.

Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end Azure Data Platforms (data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses).
Lead data modelling, design, and delivery for BI and analytics solutions.
Provide presales support and respond to RFPs.
Mentor team members and ensure architectural standards and documentation.
Translate business requirements into reporting and data analytics functionality.
Plan delivery, scope, and estimation for projects.
Keep up-to-date with newer technologies and industry trends.
