Job summary

Google is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Planner Program Manager in Norway to lead end-to-end maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS administration for our world-class data centers. You will coordinate with site supervisors, technicians, SMEs, and vendors to optimize resource use, ensure safety, and improve reliability.

You will drive proactive maintenance strategies, forecast requirements, and communicate progress across offices and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience in maintenance planning or project management.
• Experience using CMMS (IBM Maximo) to track and plan maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: Manage the end-to-end flow of maintenance work orders; plan and schedule technicians, parts, and resources while balancing workload.
• CMMS Administration and Management: Act as site-level CMMS administrator; oversee CMMS rollout and maintain equipment files, BOMs, PM schedules, and safety records.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with site supervisors, technicians, SMEs, and facility management to set priorities and solve problems.
• Strategic Planning and Technical Guidance: Provide equipment-related expertise to improve PM activities and develop long-term maintenance plans.
• Vendor Coordination: Manage external maintenance vendors to align with data center goals.

Additionally, you will serve as the site-level administrator for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), leveraging technical expertise to continuously improve our preventative maintenance strategies and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: Manage the end-to-end flow of maintenance work orders. Plan and schedule technicians, parts, and resources needed for maintenance activities while leveling resources effectively.
• CMMS Administration and Management: Act as the site-level administrator for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Oversee the launch of CMMS solutions and maintain equipment files, parts inventory, bills of materials (BOM), Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules, and safety records.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with site supervisors, technicians, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and facility management to establish work priorities, solve problems, and streamline daily operations.
• Strategic Planning and Technical Guidance: Provide equipment-related expertise and technical guidance to improve PM activities. Develop safe, efficient, and long-term strategic maintenance plans and forecasts.
• Vendor Coordination: Manage, schedule, and engage external maintenance vendors to ensure alignment with data center maintenance goals.
