Position Summary
As a Loss Prevention Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and well‑being of our guests, employees, and property.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property to maintain safety and security.
- Secure guest rooms and assist guests with room access.
- Conduct daily hazard and safety inspections.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and control access to restricted areas.
- Perform emergency drills and respond to incidents promptly.
- Assist guests and employees during emergencies; provide first aid/CPR or contact EMS as required.
- Investigate incidents, interview individuals, and complete accurate reports.
- Defuse disturbances and escort unwelcome persons from the property.
- Ensure compliance with laws (e.g., alcohol control regulations) and company security policies.
Guest & Employee Support
- Handle guest interruptions, complaints, and safety concerns professionally.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company service standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance with genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in person, in writing, and over the phone.
- Support management in training, motivating, and coaching team members.
- Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
- Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
Compliance & Standards
- Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and reporting procedures.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of all information.
- Protect company assets and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Physical & Technical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Move quickly to respond to situations (run, walk, jog as required).
- Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs independently (75 lbs with assistance).
- Navigate narrow, confined, elevated, or uneven spaces.
- Perform bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, and other physical movements as needed.
- Use computers and systems to enter and locate work‑related information.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, and documents (including small print).
- Perform other job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: Possess valid security license, first aider certified.
