Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer in London to lead IT operations, governance, and security controls across payment platforms. The role requires coordinating risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reporting for senior management and committees.

You will oversee change management, outsourcing, and third-party arrangements, ensuring resilience, incident response, and compliance with FCA-regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in IT operations, infrastructure, service management, or technology risk & control roles.
• Experience in a regulated financial services firm ( EMI / FCA-regulated environment ).
• Experience supporting governance forums, management reporting, and cross-functional remediation programmes.
• Proficient in both oral and written English.

Responsibilities

• Own IT service management and operations for systems supporting e-money issuance and payment services.
• Implement and maintain IT governance, risk, and control frameworks; support risk assessments and governance reporting.
• Embed security controls across IAM, privileged access, endpoints, logging, patching, encryption, and backup protection.
• Lead operational resilience, BCP, and DR arrangements including failover testing and risk remediation.
• Oversee change management, outsourcing, and third-party technology arrangements; ensure security and performance.
• Serve as IT operations contact for audits and regulatory reviews; coordinate evidence collection and reporting.
