Job summary

DOF Subsea seeks a Lead Project Engineer for SURF and Construction to plan and execute marine operations in the Atlantic region. You will own technical work, mentor engineers, and drive safe, compliant project execution while coordinating with onshore and offshore teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering and 10+ years in marine operations, with English fluency. Offices in Bergen or Haugesund; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
• 10+ years in marine operations, offshore installation or subsea.
• Experience leading and delivering complex subsea projects.
• Fluent English; Scandinavian language skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver subsea projects from planning to offshore execution with safe, efficient results.
• Own technical packages and interface with clients with precision.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline onshore and offshore teams to meet targets.
• Drive compliance and continuous improvement with high DOF standards and regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and strengthen HSE practices on projects.
• Contribute to integrated offshore services with vessel, ROV, and AUV components.
