Job summary

Mimica is hiring a DevOps / Platform Engineer to help scale our cloud-native platform across regions while keeping environments healthy and secure. You will work with Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, and cross-cloud tooling to empower product teams to move faster.

You will collaborate with our Platform and Engineering squads to design robust IaC, improve observability, and support FinOps initiatives as we expand multi-region and single-tenant deployments. Remote-friendly, with flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes: cluster config, RBAC, and live debugging.
• Terraform as primary IaC tool; Terragrunt a plus.
• Experience with IAM on major cloud providers (GCP/AWS).
• Experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps tool for CD.
• Observability tooling experience (Honeycomb/Datadog/Grafana/New Relic).
• Proficient in Python to automate tasks and build tooling.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams in developing mature applications on GKE.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and ArgoCD.
• Manage GKE environments across regions, including IAM.
• Investigate and triage issues, monitor health, and preserve SDLC.
• Participate in on-call rotation to monitor system health and incidents.
• Contribute to migrating IaC to Crossplane and multi-region expansion.
• Drive FinOps initiatives to control cloud spend.
