Job summary

Cyviz AS in Norway seeks a Platform Engineer to design, build and operate robust Kubernetes-based platforms powering our SaaS offerings and internal apps. You will contribute to hybrid deployments, performance and security challenges, while helping scale and secure our platforms in a distributed, cloud-native environment.

You’ll work autonomously across locations, share knowledge, and collaborate with product teams to lift our developer platform, implement CI/CD pipelines, and adopt CNCF tools

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Working knowledge of a major cloud platform (Azure).
• Comfortable working with Linux and the CLI.
• Independent, self-motivated work style.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and improve Kubernetes clusters (cloud and on-premise).
• Work with container technologies (Docker) and GitOps practices.
• Explore and adopt CNCF technologies (Argo CD, Falco, Grafana Loki).
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Empower product teams to adopt the developer platform, including implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Lift-and-shift existing on-prem installations to our SaaS.
• Implement observability solutions using Grafana, Loki.
• Collaborate on security, networking, and performance improvements.
• Share knowledge through documentation and workshops.
