Job summary

CoolPeople Technology in Oslo seeks a Kubernetes Administrator to operate and maintain production-grade Kubernetes and OpenShift environments. You will handle installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of clusters while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

The role includes infrastructure automation, capacity planning, and support for containerized applications in close collaboration with DevOps and development teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Experience operating production-grade container platforms.
• Experience with Linux-based environments, ideally Red Hat / RHEL.
• Fluent Norwegian (mandatory).
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Oslo.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
• Manage and develop OpenShift Container Platform environments.
• Ensure high availability, security, stability, and performance of container platforms.
• Manage namespaces, resource quotas, and multi-tenant environments.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using IaC.
• Troubleshoot cluster and platform issues in production.
• Perform capacity planning and platform scaling.
• Standardize and optimize platform services and operations.
• Support containerized applications in production.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Platform teams.
• Support CI/CD processes from the platform and infrastructure side.
