Overview

Are you passionate about food and ready for an extraordinary adventure in the Lofoten Islands? Trevarefabrikken is seeking experienced kitchen staff to join our dynamic kitchen team.

At Trevarefabrikken we are a big group of friends and colleagues enjoying the island life. We work, hike, climb, surf and watch endless sunsets together. It’s a social place where you’ll make new friends and create lasting memories both inside and outside of work.

The work includes
  • Prepare and manage the breakfast buffet.
  • Bake and prepare an assortment of goods for our café and desserts for dinner service.
  • Serve a seasonal à la carte lunch menu.
  • Operate our outdoor grill, preparing a variety of fresh and seasonal dishes with the best complementary ocean views.
  • Maintain kitchen systems and communication protocols.
  • Uphold hygiene and food safety standards across all tasks.
You
  • Experience in diverse kitchen environments.
  • Self‑motivated with strong initiative.
  • Ability to excel and operate with calmness in high‑tempo settings.
  • Proficiency with various kitchen equipment, particularly flat tops and grills.
  • Lead the pizza team in absence of the Kitchen Manager.

The Job
  • Requires you to be available from the beginning of June until the end of August.
  • Will be minimum 80%—100%.
  • Henningsvær is often changing with the seasons in both weather and visitors, so flexibility when it comes to tasks and workload is expected.
