You will support kitchen staff, operate equipment like slicers and ovens, adhere to safety standards, keep a clean workspace, and help promote product sales through friendly service and accurate labeling.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Food Handler certification required.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow established recipes to exact specification of the chef and ensure consistency in quality, taste and presentation.
• Assist kitchen staff with cooking, slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling and maintaining product displays.
• Adhere to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating prepared foods.
• Stack pallets and sort product according to company efficiency standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment per safety procedures.
• Provide friendly, customer-service oriented attitude and handle special order requests by phone or in person.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling initiatives.
