While we are best known for our food delivery platform, we are now on a journey to become an everything app, enabling you to get almost anything delivered to your doorstep in less than an hour.

In Norway, we launched in 2019 and now operate in 28 cities including Oslo, Trondheim, Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand, and Tromsø, with more cities to come. As we grow rapidly, we are looking for a talented junior sales manager to join our expansion journey.

Your role will involve building our restaurant and retail portfolio in new and existing cities by managing a pipeline of partners to approach and sign up to Wolt. This requires understanding the most suitable merchants across various verticals and possessing strong communication and negotiation skills to guide prospects through the sales funnel.

What you'll be doing:
  • Identifying potential partnerships and contacting restaurants and retail stores that align with Wolt's offerings, using consultative sales techniques to drive the process from start to finish.
  • Traveling regularly to new and existing cities, including participating in new city launch teams. Expect travel approximately every other week.
  • Managing and nurturing a pipeline of potential partners, tailoring your approach to position Wolt as the partner of choice.
  • Building and maintaining ongoing relationships with prospective partners.
  • Analyzing venue performance to set profitable business terms and conducting negotiations regarding partnership agreements.
  • Playing a key role in Norway's expansion by strategically building the best restaurant and retail portfolios in new cities from scratch.
  • Collaborating with the Onboarding and Development team to ensure new partners are successfully integrated and existing partners perform optimally.
  • Supporting sound business decisions through data analysis and intuition.

Our humble expectations

  • Proven experience in B2B consultative sales and closing deals, or an extensive network with strong commercial acumen and sales flair.
  • A natural hunter with excellent communication and networking skills, capable of listening, reading the room, and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Experience in the hospitality or retail industry is a plus.
  • You thrive in target-driven, fast-paced environments. Self-motivated, persistent, and solution-oriented.
  • A can-do attitude, readiness to be proactive, and enjoy being on the move.
  • Structured and quick-thinking, with good time and pipeline management skills. Experience with CRM tools is advantageous.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
