Job summary

SmartConnect Qatar is seeking an entry-level Architectural Technologist for its Bergen, Norway office. You will provide technical support on building design, preparing drawings and specifications, and collaborating with architects and engineers.

This full-time position requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit), and knowledge of building codes. Relocation is not provided, visa/work permit required, and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent diploma/certificate in Architectural Technology.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Knowledge of building codes and construction methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Conduct site visits to collect data and measurements for design projects.
• Research building materials, construction methods, and building codes to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist in the coordination of project schedules and budgets.
