Job summary

SmartConnect Qatar is seeking an entry-level Architectural Technologist for its Bergen, Norway office. You will provide technical support on building design, preparing drawings and specifications, and collaborating with architects and engineers.

Entry-level Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-level Architectural Technologist in our Bergen office. As an architectural technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to architects and other professionals in the design and construction of buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements
• Conduct site visits to collect data and measurements for design projects
• Research building materials, construction methods, and building codes to ensure compliance with regulations
• Assist in the coordination of project schedules and budgets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent diploma/certificate in Architectural Technology

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Employment Type:

Experience Level:
This is an entry-level position, therefore no prior experience is required. However, any previous internships or relevant coursework would be considered an asset.
