We are currently seeking an Jr. Office Surveyor for a major tunnel construction project in Norway.

Location: Oslo, Norway

Estimated Duration: 6 months. In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.

Start Date: ASAP

Position Description

We are looking for a Jr. Office Surveyor to manage the processing, analysis, and quality control of survey data for a complex tunnel infrastructure project. This role is office-based and requires strong proficiency in industry-leading software for point cloud processing and 3D model integration.

Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze laser scanning data and other survey datasets using industry-leading software and methodologies.
  • Ensure quality control and accuracy of survey deliverables before submission to design and construction teams.
  • Coordinate with site-based survey teams to receive, review, and validate survey data in compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed survey reports, as-built documentation, and coordinate models for use in design and construction stages.
  • Maintain and update control networks, project databases, and survey documentation in accordance with company procedures and management plans.
  • Apply surveying principles and best practices in relation to tunnels, infrastructure, and complex geometries.
  • Support project management by providing technical input and survey data for design coordination and planning.
  • Fulfill Health & Safety responsibilities by adhering to the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Management Plans.
  • Comply with all Company Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: University Degree as a Surveyor is required. ( MUST )
  • Experience: no experience required (ideal 1-2 years experience, but flexible )
  • Valuable Experience (not mandatory): Experience with laser scanning and point cloud processing techniques. Familiar with survey data processing, control network adjustment, and 3D model integration. Working knowledge of survey and design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Cyclone, and Trimble Business Center.
  • Language: English, minimum B2 level is required.
Working Conditions & Benefits
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8 hours daily).
  • Vacations: 22 days. Mandatory vacation is required from December 18th to January 5th due to project shutdown, during which the employee must leave the camp.
  • Travel: Covered at the beginning and end of the project.
  • Accommodation: Accommodation is included in the on-site camp. Meals are also provided in the camp, and food can be purchased there as well.
