JAVA Developer - Contract position in Bergen, Norway

We are currently hiring a skilled JAVA Developer for a contract position in Bergen, Norway. As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Java programming language. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality code and contribute to the overall success of the project.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java programming language
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality code
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Continuously improve code quality through regular code reviews and refactoring
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience working as a JAVA Developer
- Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)
- Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with biometric passport technology is a plus
