Location: Alta, Norway (preference, not a strict requirement)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Alta, Norway. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our company's information technology systems and ensuring their smooth operation. Your role will involve managing a team of IT professionals, implementing new technologies and strategies, and ensuring the security and reliability of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of our company's technology systems
• Manage a team of IT professionals and ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives
• Develop and implement new technologies and strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure the security and reliability of our networks, servers, software, and hardware
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to make strategic recommendations for improvement
• Develop budgets for technology projects and manage expenses within budget constraints
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in information technology management roles
• Proven track record of successfully managing a team of IT professionals
• Strong knowledge of network administration, security protocols, system maintenance, hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, etc.
• Familiarity with biometric passport systems is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary

The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
