This part-time role welcomes students and applicants with valid work authorization. You will maintain confidentiality, adapt to diverse clients, and deliver clear, culturally aware interpretation. Salary: 1400 USD.

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Interpreter to join our team in Bergen. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between English and Spanish languages. Your role will involve working with clients from various backgrounds and industries, including legal, healthcare, and business. Your exceptional language skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to maintain confidentiality will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conducting face-to-face or remote interpretation sessions between English and Spanish speakers
• Accurately interpreting spoken language in real-time
• Providing cultural understanding to ensure effective communication between parties
• Preparing materials for interpretation sessions as needed
• Maintaining confidentiality of all information obtained during interpretation sessionsAdhering to ethical standards and codes of conduct for professional interpreters

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Spanish languages (native speaker level preferred)
