Job description

At Tersan Havyard, we specialize in shipbuilding, conversions, service, and maintenance of all types of vessels. From our strategic location at the mouth of the Sognefjord on the west coast of Norway, we combine modern facilities with more than 100 years of shipbuilding experience.

With strong growth and a solid order book, we are now looking for skilled Industrial Pipefitters to join our team in Leirvik, Hyllestad.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Varied production work onboard newbuilds and conversion projects
• Fabrication and prefabrication of pipes and pipe components
• Installation of complex piping systems onboard vessels
• Assisting with inspection and certification of piping systems
• Maintenance and control of tools and welding equipment
• Quality assurance and deviation reporting

Qualifications

• Trade certificate as an Industrial Pipefitter (or equivalent)
• Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal certificate
• Ability to read and interpret piping and isometric drawings
• Strong focus on HSE and quality
• Self-driven, with the ability to work independently
• A team player who collaborates well across disciplines

The position reports to Team Leader Piping.
