Job summary

HMH is seeking a Network Lab Engineer in Kristiansand, Norway, to support, operate, and improve laboratory environments and infrastructure for industrial and OT systems. You will work with secure infrastructure, simulator environments, and cross-functional teams to ensure stable, reliable platforms.

You will contribute to development, testing, and validation of solutions that support HMH products and services, with emphasis on safety, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with network infrastructure, industrial networks, or IT/OT environments.
• Experience with laboratory, testing, simulator, or technical support environments.
• Experience with hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with technical documentation and work process improvement.
• Experience with equipment, components, and spare-part management.

Responsibilities

• Support projects and simulator environments throughout their full lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
• Monitor and follow up on orders, hardware deliveries, technical drawings, and simulator equipment.
• Develop and maintain spare-part configurations and inventory information.
• Assist with the setup, operation, maintenance, and improvement of laboratory facilities.
• Contribute to improving the stability, availability, and efficiency of infrastructure platforms.
• Support initiatives related to cybersecurity, reliability, and operational resilience.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues.
• Produce clear and structured technical documentation for products, services, and work processes.
• Participate in risk assessments and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support development, testing, and validation activities.
• Contribute to the development of solutions that support HMH's products and services.
