Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in instrumentation or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong technical skills and understanding of electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy equipment if required.
• Must be fluent in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair various types of instruments including flow meters, pressure gauges and temperature sensors.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments using technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as calibration, cleaning and lubrication.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report any malfunctions or defects.
• Work with other technicians and engineers to improve instrument performance and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments and new technologies related to instrumentation.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working with instruments.
